My dive best friend gave me the name years ago because, without fail, I show up to every trip with something new. A new gadget. A new travel tool. A new “this is going to make things easier” invention that I just had to try.

And J?
He doesn’t even try to hide it anymore.
Every time I open another package and say, “Okay, hear me out…”
I get the classic:

“Oh Lord…”
Eye roll included, free of charge.

Honestly? They aren’t wrong.
But they also aren’t surprised — because this is who I am.

I love gadgets.
All gadgets.
Dive gadgets, travel gadgets, kitchen gadgets, workout gadgets, tech gadgets…
If it promises to make life smoother, smarter, safer, easier, or a little more luxe?
I want to test it.
